Please see updates to work:

  • Land & Planning has now given us permissions to proceed with the necessary works to restore your gas supply.
  • Our in-ground operatives continue on site conducting necessary works at the ground level.
  • A project handover to our construction team is scheduled to happen on Tuesday 19 November 2019. A job pack will be put together and handed over to a Site Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and completing the operational aspect of the work.

  • Following the ongoing Planning application an on site meeting between Land & Planning and the Local Authority has taken place on last Friday 15th of November 2019.
  • tRIIO is currently awaiting feedback from the Land and Planning.
  • Current expected date for the decision : Thursday 12 December.

Please see project update:

  • We have now received all of the detailed survey drawings required to make our final submission to Kensington and Chelsea. These have been passed on to our external planning consultants who continue to liaise with the council and aim to finalise and submit the listed building application by the end of next week
  • Kensington and Chelsea are aware of the no gas situation and will endeavour to determine the application as quickly as the statutory process allows.

Welcome to your building updates:

  • A survey has been carried out and has been submitted to the organisation responsible for the management of your building
  • We have received the necessary permissions to commence our works
  • A job pack has been put together and handed over to a site manager who will be responsible for overseeing and completing the operational aspect of the work
  • Teams are currently being planned in to start works on site as soon as possible
  • Due to some fly tipping and waste hazards present on site our scaffold operatives are not able to begin works until this matter is solved. Your Council is aware of this situation and it is taking the necessary measures to solve this issue so we can move forward with the necessary works to restore your gas supply.

Please see current project status:

  • Our pre-construction surveyor, project manager and riser team attended site on Thursday 8 August to investigate the gas disconnection received overnight and a leak was identified on the network, however it was deemed unsuitable for another refurbishment via serviforge technique
  • A replacement solution is being prepared which will include, meter banks within the basement vault area and outlet pipework to be installed throughout the communal areas into individual properties.
  • Our surveyor will be back on site today – Friday 9 August in order to finalise the proposed route options and solutions for freeholder approval
  • Once freeholder permissions are received we will endeavour to replace the network as soon as possible
  • Temporary appliances were left during the previous disconnection but should you require anymore please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Compensation request

– If you live in a block of flats, use gas and are registered as the bill payer, you may be eligible for compensation.

– For every complete 24 hours there is no gas to the building we will pay £60 per household.

– We will stop paying compensation once we get the gas back to the building even if we haven’t been able to get into your home to reconnect you.

– However we will do everything we can to get you back on gas quickly.

– The payment will be automatically processed once your supply is back on.

– If we have been able to confirm your details as the bill payer, we will send you a cheque through the post within 30 working days.

– If we have not been able to verify your details, we will send any payment to your gas supplier to pass on.

Project update

tRIIO are working closely with our external planning consultants Wardall Armstrong and the planning team at Hammersmith and Fulham London Borough Council to submit the required consents which are made up of detailed reports, surveys and plans, which we are in the process of obtaining.

Once the application has been submitted, Hammersmith and Fulham London Borough Council will review and comment on the application with the aim to return a decision usually within eight weeks. This includes a statutory 21 day consultation period where neighbours, local amenity societies and interested relevant parties will be consulted. The City Council have indicated that they will endeavour to determine the application as quickly as the statutory process allows. Once the consent is received, tRIIO can then plan in the work.

Due to the nature of the building a full survey has been requested. We are currently waiting for information regarding the existing pipework on the whole building, once this information is received we will carry out the full survey.
