Please see current project status:

  • Our pre-construction surveyor, project manager and riser team attended site on Thursday 8 August to investigate the gas disconnection received overnight and a leak was identified on the network, however it was deemed unsuitable for another refurbishment via serviforge technique
  • A replacement solution is being prepared which will include, meter banks within the basement vault area and outlet pipework to be installed throughout the communal areas into individual properties.
  • Our surveyor will be back on site today – Friday 9 August in order to finalise the proposed route options and solutions for freeholder approval
  • Once freeholder permissions are received we will endeavour to replace the network as soon as possible
  • Temporary appliances were left during the previous disconnection but should you require anymore please do not hesitate to contact our office.

  • Our surveyor Adam Zollo attended site on Tuesday 6 August to establish the scope of work required to restore the gas
  • The survey has now been completed and submitted to the organisation responsible for the management of your building
  • We are currently waiting on the necessary permissions to commence work but will begin the process of planning the work in order to restore your gas.

Please see current project updates:

  • Our surveyor attended site on Monday 5 August with the intent of establishing the scope of work required to restore the gas
  • The survey has been completed and submitted to the organisation responsible for the management of your building. We are currently waiting on the necessary permissions to commence work but will begin the process of planning the work in order to restore your gas
  • In addition to our survey, in order to comply with current legislation, we may have to carry out checks on the building to establish if asbestos is present before we can commence any work. We appreciate that this is a further inconvenience and we will endeavour to complete this part of the process as soon as possible. You may see our specialist contractor on site carrying out the survey and may be asked for access to your property for a brief inspection
  • We also have requested a scaffold survey as our teams will require working at height.

An update will be provided once new information is available.

 

Permissions received

  • We have received the necessary permissions to commence and we are now in the process of planning the work in order to restore your gas
  • A job pack will now be put together and handed over to a site manager who will be responsible for overseeing and completing the operational aspect of the work.

  • We have now received information from your managing agents that the 3rd party scaffold will be struck on Friday 9 August
  • We have received the necessary permissions to commence and we are now in the process of planning the work in order to restore your gas

Awaiting permissions

  • The survey has been completed and submitted to the organisation responsible for the management of your building. We have received the necessary permissions from the freeholders.
  • Planning permissions is required due to the nature of your building. Our planning team is currently liaising with the Westminster City Council all the necessary aspects in order to obtain permissions and move forward with the works.

  • We have received the necessary permissions from the organisation responsible for the management of your building.
  • You may be aware that College Court is located within a conservation area and therefore will require planning permission. This is to ensure that the proposed work is not detrimental to the historical or architectural importance of the building or the surrounding area. We will liaise with the local authority – Hammersmith and Fulham London Borough Council and will provide an update as soon as permissions are received.

We apologise for the delay and will work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

  • We have now received confirmation that the identified asbestos has been removed
  • A job pack will now be put together and handed over to a site manager who will be responsible for overseeing and completing the operational aspect of the work
  • Our riser and fitter operatives are on site carrying out necessary works on the pipework and individual properties.

Identified asbestos being removed

Please see updates to work:

  • Please be aware that asbestos has been identified within the building. Whilst it is not a problem if left untouched, it will unfortunately affect our works
  • Your managing agents are currently carrying out the removal of the identified asbestos. Once this is completed we will continue our works.

Project update

Please see updates to work:

  • Unfortunately our initial attempt to reuse some of the existing pipe work has failed the testing procedures.
  • The chemical sealant was successfully introduced to the pipe but will need to cool over night before testing. Our operatives will be on site today in order to carry out the test and we will advise you of the outcome as soon as possible.

We appreciate that this is inconvenient and would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation.
